The Kiwanis Club of Novato, which has worked to help the youth of our community for more than fifty years, will hold its annual Crab Feed on the evening of Saturday, January 22nd, at the Margaret Todd Senior Center, with the social hour starting at 6 pm., and dinner service starting at 7 p.m.
This annual event traditionally features the freshest crab available, and we’ll have great music, as has been the case for many years. There are prizes, and we always have a nice time.
It is the primary fund raiser for the Novato Kiwanis Club, which spends its money to support programs that help develop character in young people, such as Novato High’s Key Club, and AFJROTC.
Tickets are $40: Call 897-1430, or 897-5845, or 897-0340, or 897-3688, or 578-2642

On the evening of Saturday, February 5th the Drake High School Benchwarmers Booster Club invite you to attend their Annual Crab Feed event.
The mission of Drake High School Benchwarmers is to support Drake High School's athletic programs and the student athlete in partnership with the community. The money raised finances extra athletic equipment, improve existing athletic facilities and help with Athletic Department needs as they arise.
The group would like every Drake family to belong to Benchwarmers - meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the Drake Staff Lounge, from September through April. Each meeting has a sports update from Athletic Director Chad Stuart, a school update from an Assistant Principal, and a DLC (Drake Leadership Committee) update on potential curriculum changes and other school matters. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy some delicious crab and excellent company while learning more about how you can support the student body of Drake High School!

Novato Horsemen, Inc. is one of the last remaining active horse clubs in a county which once hosted many barns and stables. As land values skyrocket, Novato Horsemen members strive to withstand “progress” to keep Novato’s and Marin County’s horse heritage alive for future generations. Horse owner or not, most activities are open to all within the community. In addition to its own activities, Novato Horsemen Inc. supports and participates in many other nonprofit organizations.
